Detect Cat Spraying Now - Stop Serious Cat Urine Damage
The SprayAlert consists of two parts: an electronic Alarm Unit, and reusable Cat Spray Sensor. The spray sensor is placed where your cat typically sprays, and connects to the alarm unit via a 3 foot cord. Most cat spraying occurs in the same few spots. The alarm unit is placed nearby but out of the spraying area.
When the Spray Sensor detects cat spraying, the audio alarm sounds and an LED flashes red. The audio alarm shuts off after 30 seconds, while the red light continues to blink until the unit is reset. So even if you are away, asleep, or out of range of the audio alarm, you will know that your cat has sprayed. Serious cat urine damage can be prevented by cleaning up immediately.
The Alarm Unit is compact, handheld size (2.6" x 2.6" x 1.1"). It is powered by a replaceable 9 volt battery (included).
The Spray Sensor is made of durable conductive black ink printed on a thin flexible plastic material. When moisture bridges the small gap between adjacent printed conductors, the alarm is triggered. The Spray Sensor can be easily rinsed off and used repeatedly.
Two styles of Spray Sensors are available: the main Spray Sensor used in most situations, and a "Rectangular" Spray Sensor for use on narrow surfaces such as table legs. The Spray Sensor plugs into a connector jack on either side of the unit. Two cat spray sensors can be used simultaneously, as the alarm unit has two connector jacks. Adhesive strips are provided to aid in mounting the sensors to most surfaces.
